Nostalgia: New equipment for Birkbeck School
Birkbeck School in North Somercotes thought their birthday had come early when they received £500 of sports equipment as a result of a collection of Co-op vouchers.
Di Dykes, who organised the collection was delighted to see the new equipment the school had received.
The new equipment included a set of indoor goals, net and weights, dozens of shuttlecocks and new short length racquets.
The school was also on track at the time of getting more vouchers to go towards some new hockey equipment.
