Nostalgia: Sand racing in Mablethorpe

For most, the coast shuts down during the winter months, but this exciting sport keeps the town alive and attracts hundreds of people to the beach in the cold months every year.

It also helps to give an added boost to the economy when it is needed most.

Race meets usually take place on Sunday mornings.
