Nostalgia: Young farmers photo stirs up old memories
This picture of the Coningsby Young Farmers' Club (YFC)sparked memories for Derek and Janet Hodgson.
Mrs Hodgson said: “Several of my husband’s relations are pictured. Derek and myself were members of Coningsby YFC in the 1960s and 1970s. We were joint secretaries for the Coningsby and Horncastle Ploughing Match Society.
“At some point, the society joined with Horncastle YFC. This is an earlier photo before that.”
Mrs Hodgson was able to identify Len Hodgson (back row, far left), Willy Hutton (front, second from left), John Harvey (six from left), Gordon Hodgson (eighth from left) and Roland Parker (eleventh from left).
