Notts: Charity calls on business support for calendar

The charity aims to raise £100,000 towards its work with disadvantaged children across the country through selling these calendars.

To sponsor a month in the calendar local businesses will provide a logo, contact details and a brief description of their business area. In return they will benefit from positive exposure whilst supporting a charity at the heart of the local community.

Local Notts businesses can support The Children’s Society by sponsoring a page in the calendar which will then be available in the charity’s shops, including the ones in Retford and New Ollerton.

Retail support manager, Patricia Cook said: “Involving local businesses in our work to improve disadvantaged children’s lives is important to us. We hope that the Notts community will also support The Children’s Society by purchasing the calendar when it is available in our shop from November.”

“All funds raised by the calendar will go towards our work supporting children across the country - including those living in poverty and runaways - to help improve their lives.”
