Notts County council to discuss £600,000 care home refurbishment programme

Proposals for a £600,000 refurbishment programme of Nottinghamshire County Council’s six care homes are to be considered at the forthcoming Adult Social and Health Committee on Monday 2nd July.

Councillors will meet next week to discuss plans for James Hince Court in Carlton and St Michael’s View in Retford as well as other care homes in Ollerton, Arnold, Newark and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

It is also planning to offer a wider range of short-term services that promote independence along with more support services for the wider community at the centres and within local people’s homes.

For the outcome of the meeting, pick up a copy of next week’s Worksop Guardian - now out on 6th July.
