Notts: A dismissed sergeant who was acquitted of rape charges has been reinstated
A Detective Sergeant will be reinstated after being acquitted of rape charges.
A police appeals tribunal determined that Det Serg Trevor Gray should return to Notts Police.
Following Trevor Gray’s acquittal at court in relation to rape allegations, the force did not oppose the reinstatement, but had to follow a legal process.
Yesterday (Thursday 10th April) Notts Police have received the determination of the formal decision, and will be arranging a meeting with Trevor Gray to discuss his future with Notts Police.
