Notts Police carried out an internal investigation into his off-duty behaviour on a coach trip to London on May 10th last year.

Fifty-one off-duty police officers were returning from a rally in the capital when the 31-year-old exposed himself and carried out a lewd act.

He was found guilty of gross misconduct at a disciplinary hearing, and appealed the dismissal. But the original decision was upheld after an appeal review.

Deputy Chief Constable Sue Fish said: “We expect high standards from everyone working for Nottinghamshire Police, both on and off duty.”

“The overwhelming majority of officers and staff demonstrate the highest standards of ethics and conduct on a daily basis. However behaviour like this will not be tolerated, as we do not want people like this representing the force and serving the public.”
