Now you can pay by phone

From 5th January, all West Lindsey District Council car parks will have the technology to allow charges to be paid by a phone call.

Coun Malcolm Parish said: “Gainsborough is a progressive town so we are delighted to be able to offer this facility to local residents and visitors.”

“The days of drivers searching for loose change and then having to battle through the wind and rain to find a pay and display machine will be a thing of the past.”

He continued: “An added benefit of the scheme is that customers who discover that their shopping or appointment is taking longer than they expected don’t have to return to the car park to get another ticket – you can just call in and extend the time.”

Displays in the car parks will give details of how users can join the mobile scheme or alternatively people can call 020 3003 2523, download the free App or visit www.parkmobile.co.uk

Registration is free, but people who use the mobile facility will be charged 20 pence each time they park, in addition to the normal tariff.
