Obituary: Donald Edwin Buddin

The Rev Stephen Johnson officiated at the service and arrangements were made by J Marshall.

Don was born in Teddington, London.

An experienced motor engineer and MOT tester, he owned Hatton Garage at Hatton near Wragby for 36 years, retiring in 2015.

Don spent six years in the 9/12 Royal Lancers. He was stationed at Lulworth, Dorset, and saw service in Aden, Northern Ireland and Germany.

He enjoyed all motor sport and raced BriSCA F1 stock cars.

Since retiring, he also enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables.

He was very happy living in Market Rasen; he loved walking and getting to know the area.

Family mourners were: Diane Buddin (wife); Kevin Buddin (son); Peggy Shields (sister); Isabel Smith (sister); Simon and Dann Shields (nephew and wife); Martin Shields (nephew); Ursula Farrington (niece); Michael Smith (nephew); Kenneth Skinner (cousin); Ann and Barry Hazard (cousins).
