It was at Butlins that he met his future wife, Angela.

From there, Frank and Angela moved to Mareham le Fen, where they ran the Royal Oak public house for 10 years, which is where their two sons, Jamie and Connor, were born.

In 1996, the family moved to Osgodby.

Frank enjoyed all sport, but football remained his favourite, always supporting Blackburn Rovers.

Frank also loved doing amateur dramatics at the Osgodby Village Hall panto for many years and also at Caistor.

In 2004, Frank suffered a stroke and spent a long time in hospital, but that did not stop him; he carried on the best he could, never letting it get him down.
