Members of Lincolnshire County Council’s investment team will be taking part in the Castle to Coast to Castle (C2C2C) charity cycle ride, alongside hundreds of other riders representing a range of Lincolnshire businesses.

‘Team Lincolnshire’ will be captained by Andy Gutherson, county commissioner for economy and place, who will be joined by colleagues Chris Rose, Marc Willis, Adam Round and Simon Wright.

This year, the event will be raising funds for charity Sophie’s Story, with St Barnabas Hospice and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance also receiving a share.

‘Team Lincolnshire’ will also be using the ride from Lincoln to Chapel Point and back as an opportunity to promote all the county has to offer potential investors.

Andy Gutherson said: “Lincolnshire is increasingly recognised as one of the investment hotspots in the East Midlands, offering a range of opportunities.

“C2C2C is a great way for us to get that message out, while raising money for a good cause at the same time.”
