From June 26 to July 9, staff will visit local neighbourhoods on a tour bus to talk with residents, show them plans for the future and allow people to discuss issues of importance.

NLH staff will be on hand to talk about Universal Credit, jobs and training, and new building developments, with chances to win prizes such as a Kindle Fire.

Last year 335 tenants visited the bus and it is hoped to reach more people this time.

Andy Orrey, Chief Executive, said: “Our ambition as a landlord is to offer the best possible services. The only way we can do that is to listen to tenants’ ideas and concerns and act where we can.

“One of the many ways we have shared information and listened to residents’ views in the past was by hosting an Annual Tenant Conference, but following feedback we are now travelling to tenants instead of asking them to come to us.

“We’re planning lots of activities for people to take part in or residents can simply come and say hello.

“It’s a chance to find out about our plans for the future, how Universal Credit could affect people as well as looking at ways to learn skills or how to get into training.”

The bus timetable for Isle venues is as follows;

Thursday, June 26;

Haxey, Blackmoor Road, 9.30 and 10.30am

Epworth, Fieldside, 10.45am and noon

Belton, Ashtree Close 1pm and 1.30pm

Crowle, Windsor Road 2pm and 2.45pm

Keadby, Day Close, 3.15 and 4.15pm
