Only call 999 in emergency
YORKSHIRE Ambulance Service is urging people only to call the 999 number when it is an emergency this Christmas.
Bosses are appealing for people with minor illnesses and injuries to consider more appropriate healthcare services for their needs.
In the past week calls to 999 have included someone with toothache.
