Community care this holiday season

The holiday season is now upon us, which means weekend getaways, barbecues in the garden, and a general onslaught of activity across the whole of the county.

We all put great amounts of time and effort into the planning of our holidays and strive to make the most of our weekends throughout the summer months - but accidents can and do happen.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust wants everyone across the county to enjoy their holiday season to the fullest, which means ensuring we get the right help to the right people at the right time, should your holiday be interrupted by untimely illness or injury.

There has been a considerable buzz across the nation regarding the availability of seven-day NHS healthcare services, which is even more pertinent throughout the holiday season.

Community services, by nature, operate across the whole week and we are continually looking for additional ways to ensure the right services are available at the right time and place to meet your needs.

We welcome patients with open arms to all of our services. Throughout these busy summer months our services such as minor illness and injury units, urgent care centres and the Lincoln Walk-In Centre are available to residents and visitors alike.

The NHS 111 service is also available.

We would like to wish a happy and healthy holiday season to all in Lincolnshire.
