Crazy Hats invasion to say thanks for the cash

Children and staff from Billesdon Parochial Primary School handed over a cheque for £600 to Crazy Hats, the Northamptonshire-based breast cancer charity.

Pupils James Garner (6) and Amilia Malatesta (11) were picked to present the cash to Glennis Hooper and Marilyn Clapham from Crazy Hats at the school on November 30.

Head teacher Anita Timson said all the children had a wonderful time trying on lots of different hats provided by Glennis and Marilyn.

The school raised the £600 by putting on a fabulous Ball in the Fall back in October and is now planning to support the charity with more fundraising events.

Also taking part in the presentation were Debbie Keast (PA to consultant plastic reconstructive surgeon, Mr Graham Offer) and parents Louise Brittenden and Sue Crocker (on behalf of PAFA).

Crazy Hats provides support for breast cancer patients and their families across Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, as well as funding new equipment and improved facilities for breast cancer care.
