Housing - Under pressure
Indeed, given some decisions – and the state of local government finances – I am increasingly of the opinion that we only need one authority in Lincolnshire.
However, I think it is only fair to point out that the council is under pressure to produce a Local Plan, including permitted housing developments for specific towns and villages.

Hide AdThe Government wants new homes to be built – even if existing properties are struggling to sell in many places.
My message to Mr Cameron and company would be that not all housing markets are as strong as London and the South East.
So, the next time someone condemns the district council for proposing X-number of homes in their community, perhaps they should vent their anger and dismay at Parliament – and not Manby.
