Is Labour still Labour?

I recently joined a ‘walk’ in support of the ambulance service in Retford. On that day, I gave information to the then Chairman of Bassetlaw Council, Ian Campbell, who seemed very interested therein and said the party I spoke of should be working for the community.

He said he would pass the information on to John Mann, MP and Simon Greaves and would then write to me in response. Since then I have also sent him additional information and until now have had no reply, written or otherwise.

So I would say this is where trust fails. I think my father, born 1912, a miner and Labour-follower would turn in his grave if he thought I had taken a different route to his beliefs.

So, is Labour really Labour any more I ask you!
