Nostalgia - Skegness to Horncastle
I fondly remember the October 1, 1995 walking race among previous others, when Gladys Tingle came in 3 minutes ahead of me at 5hrs.10min, and she was 10 years older!
In the Market Place was commentator Len Blades together with Mayor of Horncastle Steve Wainwright.
Unfortunately, the walk cannot be resurrected because of safety reasons, but will still be appreciated and remembered by all who took part both young and senior.
