State of town - What a distinct lack of pride

I do wonder what pride the town council has in the town when so many issues appear to be ignored '“ some for more than three years, others for many months.

There are some plastic seats in the passage way between Heathers and Bells that still need replacing.

Railings opposite the library, in Jubilee Way and down Banks Road all need repainting.

The lampposts down Church Lane and Wharf Road are in a very poor state, as is the road surface at the entrance to the Bull car park and further down Banks Road.

The state of the Market Place pavings and seats and tree surrounds are a disgrace and, despite statements to the contrary, are a health and safety hazard.

There are many other matters which have just been ignored.

It’s about time the town council took some action.
