White goods - Trend is not a welcome one

It would appear a new trend has started in Woodhall Spa ... ornamental garden kitchen appliances.

I cannot wait to join when my old washing machine or fridge goes to the white goods god in the sky.

I will just throw it on to the grass outside my house and wait for the “scrap fairy” to collect it.

Alternatively, rather than be a lazy penny-pinching sort, I could take the goods to the local recycling centre, some two miles away or, perish the thought, spend a small amount of money and arrange for East Lindsey District Council to collect it.

I know Woodhall prides itself in its historical wartime events, but don’t you think it’s going a bit too far recreating the trenches around the Old Spa/Kinema grassed verges?
