Boston Police Cadets will be at the Municipal Buildings, in West Street, Boston, for an open day from 6.30-7.30pm.

The event is free for anyone, including mum, dad or legal guardian, to come along and find out more about what is involved in being part of the organisation.

There will be an opportunity to meet current police cadets and their leaders, put questions and ask for support on how to find and complete the application to join.

Police Cadets members are aged between 14-18 and come from all walks of life.

Lincolnshire Police gives those members a real taste of life in a uniformed service, along with taking part in activities ranging from supporting charities and supporting police officers and other agencies in public events to undertaking projects such as crime and anti-social behaviour prevention and advice, outdoor pursuits, sporting activities and safety and awareness training.
