Outgoing mayor thanked by successor
The outgoing Mayor of Sleaford, Coun David Suiter was presented with a Past Mayor's badge in recognition of his service at the annual meeting of the Town Council last week.
He received the badge, a tradition observed in recent years by the council, from new Mayor, Coun Jan Mathieson.
During the meeting, councillors also elected members to serve on a new system of panels allocated responsibilities for handling and reviewing different aspects of council business, reporting to the council.
