Over 60s enjoy Misterton party

Misterton’s senior citizens sat down to lunch and an afternoon of entertainment at the annual party held for over 60s last month.

A magician kept guests entertained with an enthralling show. He is pictured with his assistant, Ladies’ Group chairwoman Hazel Duffner, helping with one of the tricks. District councillor Hazel Brand proposed a vote of thanks to the organisers and those organisations that had supported the event financially. On behalf of the organising team, Nikki Jaggard-Smith added: “Thank you to all those who attended the recent senior citizen’s party, our sponsors, our helpers on the day, and the Dovecote for the wonderful food.”
