Owner of clothes found next to Skegness Pier 'safe and well'
Police have reported the owner of men’s clothing discarded on Skegness beach has been located and is well after concerns were raised for his safety.
A search involving police and the lifeboat was launched after the clothing was found next to Skegness Pier on Friday.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We are pleased to report that we have now identified and located the owner of the clothes that were found discarded on Skegness beach.
“He is safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
