Parents' group raises £5,000 for ICT revamp

A sum of £5,000 has been donated to Bicker Prepartory School and Early Years following a year of fundraising by the Parents' Association.

The money will go towards the refurbishment of the setting’s ICT (information and communications technology) facilities.

It was raised during the academic year through such events as a family fun day, a film night, and school discos.

Headteacher Julie Miles said: “We knew they had been working hard to raise money for the refurbishment, but we were quite overwhelmed by the amount donated.”

She added: “We are extremely grateful for all their hard work and support.”
