Pause for Thought
Last week Alton Towers reopened for the coming season.
It’s a place where people spend millions of pounds each year to stand in long queues followed by the relatively few seconds of terror and thrills on a rollercoaster ride. Being on a rollercoaster must have been how those following Jesus must have felt in the run up to his death on the cross. Three days later Jesus was alive again having conquered sin and death for you and me. If you want to experience the thrill of knowing and following Jesus, you don’t have to queue and his invitation to join him is free at a church near you. What are you waiting for? Come and see.
