'A fantastic acknowledgement of our team’s passion': Winner speaks of pride as Skegness Business Awards looms

Fantasy Island has been nominated in the Community Service category after winning the Visitor Attraction or Event of the Year award last year.

Members of the team will join other hopefuls at Friday’s prestigious awards presentation ceremony at the North Shore Hotel. This glittering black-tie event is always a highlight in the local calendar. Guests will enjoy a welcome drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal and the main event, celebrating the brilliant businesses that make our area special.

Paige Harris-Scott, Strategic Brand and Partnerships Manager of Mellors Group who own Fantasy Island, said: “Being recognised as Visitor Attraction of the Year in the 2024 Skegness Business Awards was a proud moment for everyone at Fantasy Island.

"To be nominated again this year is a fantastic acknowledgement of our team’s passion, hard work, and commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences and memories that’ll last a lifetime.”

Skegness area Business Chamber, who organise the event, said: “The awards ceremony will bring together finalists, sponsors, and supporters to celebrate the achievements of local businesses and individuals who go above and beyond.

"From creative makers to community champions, each finalist represents the heart and soul of Skegness.”
