‘A real triumph’: Burgh le Marsh Town Council completes purchase of former Methodist church
Burgh le Marsh Town Council has completed the purchase of the a former Methodist Church, securing the building for future community use.
The acquisition of the building on Jacksons Lane follows a period of public consultation, during which residents overwhelmingly backed the project.
Over the coming months, Town Clerk Kelly Stevenson says work will be carried out to level the floor in the church room.
This is in preparation for the town's library service and the town clerk's office to relocate from their temporary base at Tinkers Green.

Once the move has taken place, the community room at the rear of the building will be available to hire for local groups, activities and events.
The town council described the purchase as "a real triumph for Burgh le Marsh", saying it had been made possible through council funding and a grant from the East Lindsey Investment Fund.
