Boston Skate Jam 2026 took place in Central Park on Sunday (August 22), from 12-4pm.
The event is organised by Boston Borough Council in collaboration with skateboard and scooter coaching provider Team Rubicon.
Free to attend, it featured professional demonstrations, competitions, and coaching sessions.
Coun Dale Broughton, leader of Boston Borough Council, said: “Boston’s annual skate jam was a great day, with the event once again forming part of the programme of free events taking place in the town this summer.
“Now in its sixth year, the event attracted around 100 children, many of whom were eagerly waiting for it to begin. Family and friends turned out to support them, creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day.
“I would like to thank Team Rubicon, the UK’s leading provider of skateboard and scooter coaching, for hosting the event, and World Champion scooter rider Jay Sweet for showcasing his incredible skills and helping to judge the competitions.
“It was a truly fantastic event, and I hope everyone enjoyed taking part in the competitions and watching the impressive tricks and skills on display.”

The skate park is a relatively new feature in Boston, launching in 2020. It was developed as part of a project which also included a multi-use games area, table tennis tables, and a community garden.
