Aby man, 46, faces rape trial later this year
A man facing rape charges is to stand trial in front of a jury later this year.
Barry Devanney appeared before Lincoln Crown Court this morning (Wednesday) via a remote link.
Devanney, 46, of New Street, Aby, near Alford, who is accused of two charges of rape was not asked to enter any pleas at today’s hearing.

Hide AdHe pleaded not guilty to the two charges at his previous court appearance, at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, on January 20.
He was granted conditional bail by Judge Simon Hirst, and the case was adjourned for a trial due to commence on September 13.
