Affordable homes open doors to Market Rasen buyers this weekend
Home hunters in and around Market Rasen are being invited to explore affordable living at a special open event taking place this weekend.
Platform Home Ownership is hosting the event at Chantrey Park on Saturday, where prospective buyers can find out more about securing a new home through the Shared Ownership scheme – without the need for a large deposit.
The homes at Chantrey Park have been built by Lincolnshire-based developer Chestnut Homes and are designed to offer affordable living without compromising on quality, space or convenience.
Between 10.30am and 1pm, visitors will be able to look around the available properties and speak to the sales team about how Shared Ownership works, while enjoying complimentary refreshments.

Under the scheme, buyers can purchase between 10 and 75 per cent of a property, paying a mortgage on the share they own and rent on the remaining portion. Owners have the same rights and responsibilities as traditional homeowners and can increase their share over time, potentially up to 100 per cent.
Victoria Warrilow, Sales Consultant for Platform Home Ownership, said the open day offers a valuable opportunity for would-be buyers to learn more about the development and the benefits of Shared Ownership.
She said: “Having recently released our first homes at Chantrey Park, this weekend’s open day offers a unique chance for prospective buyers to learn about all the merits of Shared Ownership and the excellent properties available.
“This development was built by Lincolnshire homebuilder Chestnut Homes, with whom we have partnered elsewhere and have confidence that our buyers will settle into a great space with an important local touch.
“The semi-rural setting means they can benefit from countryside living and the benefits of urban convenience, with the nearby market town offering a traditionally British experience.”
Located just outside the centre of Market Rasen, Chantrey Park combines a semi-rural setting with good transport links. Each home comes with a 10-year build warranty, a turfed rear garden and off-street parking, with scenic walking routes close by.
Market Rasen itself is known for its independent shops, traditional high street and welcoming community atmosphere. The town is also home to Market Rasen Racecourse, which hosts events throughout the year, as well as nearby attractions including Willingham Woods and Wild Pines Park.
The development benefits from access to the A46 for travel to Lincoln, Grimsby and Hull, while Market Rasen railway station offers regular services to larger cities.
