Body of man found on Skegness beach

Police have confirmed the body of a man was found off Skegness beach.

An RNLI lifeboat crew recovered the body after being requested to launch around 2pm on Monday.

Lincolnshire Police have said they are not treating the death as suspicious. A statement reads: "The body of a man was recovered by the coastguard at Skegness beach at 2pm yesterday.

"This is not being treated as suspicious. Formal identification of the man has not yet taken place."
