Boston-based hospitality chief executive dons waiter’s apron for charity

The chief executive of a Boston-based hospitality business stepped into the role of a waiter at a recent fundraiser.

Kevin Charity, of the Coaching Inn Group, donned an apron and served his peers at the event, held at London’s Freemason’s Hall in aid of Only A Pavement Away.

The charity works to provide a pathway for the homeless and ex-offenders to find their way into jobs within the hospitality and catering industry.

“This is a cause very close to our hearts,” said Kevin, whose group now operates 16 hotels and inns in market towns across the country including Boston’s White Hart Hotel.
