“They have an excellent record with substance dependent men and women, seeing 37 percent of residents who come through detox staying for six months or more drug free and developing productive and independent lives.

“Betel currently hosts 150 men and women in Britain and receives numerous testimonies of lives changed, families restored and new hope developed as a result of their time with Betel.”

After 20 years in Britain, they have recently launched The Rising – a stylish café attached to Alive church Lincoln in Newlands.

The evening in Market Rasen, on April 24, will be held in the committee room of the Festival Hall.

Anyone is welcome to go along at 6.30pm.

There will be coffee, a short time of worship and stories from the team about their experiences.
