Care home hosts 'May Hatters' tea party

A Skegness care home hosted a 'May Hatters' tea party so residents could enjoy the sunshine and relatives could see them having fun while they are unable to visit.

Carole Appleton, Business Support Supervisor at Syne Hills Care Home, said: "It was one crazy day!

"Preparations started days ago, but with our super teams of people, it was an amazing and spectacular outcome.

"Everyone joined in, regardless of their role, and even those who were off-duty came to support.

"The weather and lots of goodies to enjoy resulted in a fabulous day of fun, laughter, dressing up, playing games and enjoying our gardens."
