Now we want to see the results of your efforts - and you could end up winning £500 in gardening vouchers.

The Rasen Mail has teamed up with Chestnut Homes to give local people a chance to win by sharing photos of their summer gardening project.

The Lincolnshire housebuilder, which has developments across the county, is encouraging readers to send in pictures showing the fruits of their horticultural labours - from window boxes to full renovations.

The entrant judged to have carried out the most creative garden project will receive a prize of £500 in gardening vouchers.

Steve Bark, landscape gardener at Chestnut Homes, said: “During lockdown, many of us have had the chance to spend a bit more time in our garden than usual, decorating, nurturing wildlife and taking on some projects we just didn’t have the time to do before now.

“From starting a window box to building a new flower bed, we are inviting people to share their creative garden projects, no matter how big or small.

“And with a prize of £500 in gardening vouchers up for grabs, the winner will be able to keep their garden looking great all year round.”

Over the next few weeks, we will be featuring some of the pictures received.

If your project isn’t quite completed, there is still time to finish it off, but don’t take too long.

The deadline to submit your entries is Wednesday July 22, 2020.

The lucky winner will be announced shortly afterwards.
