It has been a very tough time for the not-for-profit organisation, as November is usually a peak trading month for raising vital funds for charity.

It is hoped that the local community will do their bit to support the good cause this month now that the national lockdown has ended.

Shoppers will be able to choose from hundreds of Christmas card designs, as well as gifts, stocking fillers, wrapping paper and gift tags.

There is a well-distanced one-way system so customers can walk and browse safely. The shop is open Mondays to Saturdays, 10am to 1pm.

There is also a ‘click and collect’ option, and online orders can be placed at https://cards-for-good-causes.square.site for collection from the church.

If you would like to become a volunteer, visit the church or call 07985 169911 to speak to the organisers.
