Clean start for Amanda with January declutter challenge

A Chapel St Leonards hairdresser is planning a clean start to 2020 - by declutterng her home.

Amanda Flint, who owns Hairs and Graces salon, is one of thousands following the blogger Lynsey Queen of Clean and her January declutter challenge.

Already building a reputation on Instagram herself as an influencer with her product reviews and recipes, Amanda says she is well on her way to a tidy home.

"As a single mum with my own business and three dogs life can become chaotic," explained Amanda. "I started getting into this in March last year after following the influencer Mrs Hinch and her reviews of household products.

"When you are busy it's easy to get behind with jobs that need doing.

"The January declutter helps you put order back in your life - whether it's Toilet Tuesday or Fridge Friday.

"You just set a challenge for every day and then you can stay on top of things.

"Cleaning the house is good exercise and a great stress buster too."

The challenge sets targets for the whole house throughout January - including the fridge, kitchen drawers, junk drawers, handbags and school bags, coats and shoes, under the beds, cleaning products, utility room and garden shed.
