A planned Illuminate celebration for #onesmallcandle, where the council invite all residents, shops, businesses to illuminate the town by placing a candle or lantern in their windows, is still planned to take place on the November 26.

A council spokesperson said they wanted those taking part to share pictures on social media with the hashtag #onesmallcandle – more information can be found https://www.visitbostonuk.com/one-small-candle/

“We will be contacting and working with our contractors, sponsors and event support staff to inform them of this information as soon as possible,” the spokesperson said.
