The Party in the Park event was intended to replace the Music and Beer Festival last held in 2019, but had to be cancelled last summer, and the council has now decided this year’s will not take place.

Ffunded by Boston Town Area Committee, the event would have included live music, and a range of activities and food stalls..

Chair of Boston Town Area Committee, Councillor Paul Goodale, said: “It is with regret we have decided to cancel the event, but it is felt the responsible decision with the desire to keep people safe.

“We will be running a series of smaller scale events throughout the Summer which we hope many of you will enjoy and we hope to rearrange plans for Party in the Park to return at a later date.”

All tickets will be refunded over the next few days.
