More than 50 makers attended the fair - from food producers such as Lincolnshire honey, cheese and jams to a number of creatives, including illustrators, ceramics, fused glass makers, men’s beard products and eco friendly products.

Musical entertainment was provided by guitar duo Nigel and Teri and saxophonist John, with free lawn games for children, and the deer safari proved very popular.

The event was so popular that many stall holders sold out of produce.

Spokesman Jodie said: “The event was really popular - it was our first ever Lincolnshire Makers event so we were unsure what to expect in terms of footfall but we had put a lot of time and effort in advertising the event.”

The event was so popular, that an Autumn Artisan Market has also been planned for Saturday September 18.
