From May 1 to September 30, the Order specifies that all dogs are banned from beaches in Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea.

Until a date when the official lockdown comes to an end, people are asked to show sensible dog ownership and keep dogs on leads where necessary to help ensure social distancing, Owners are still required to ensure they clean up after their dogs and anyone caught breaking this rule will receive a fixed penalty notice.

Portfolio Holder for Operational Services, Coun Martin Foster, said: “We recognise this is a difficult time for a lot of people and we know it’s important they are able to get their daily exercise with their dogs.

"With that in mind, our dog exclusion zones are currently available for dogs to be walked without action being taken. This relies on the good will of people to be responsible.”
