Donkey delight for united service in Horncastle
The Easter story was brought to life for all ages to enjoy when Jessica the donkey joined in a special event in Horncastle.
A week before Easter, on Palm Sunday, the congregations of St Mary’s Church and the Methodist Church took part in a procession of witness though the town.
The procession ended with a united service at the Queen Street Methodist Church to mark this significant event in the Christian calendar.
Much to the delight of all, especially the children, Jessica the donkey played an active role throughout the event.
