Easter eggs and hamper gifts for home’s residents

Residents in a Sleaford care home were treated to two donations of Easter eggs to brighten up their weekend.

The UK’s largest energy broker for the Not-for-Profit sector, Utility Aid presented 32 eggs to the home - one for each resident - on Saturday afternoon.

RAF Cranwell personnel had also collected to present two hampers of goodies.

Ashdene manager Jilly Hunt said: “The residents are really happy about the kind donations from both Utility Aid and RAF Cranwell.

“It’s really comforting to know that our lovely residents are still being thought of at this difficult time for everyone. One resident, Allen, said there are some really kind people out there and he was looking forward to eating lots of chocolate on Sunday (he’s got rather a sweet tooth).”

She added residents were getting their second doses of Covid vaccine and 99 per cent of staff are now vaccinated: “I’m really proud of the team and their determination to keep everyone safe.”
