Emergency services attend grounds of Old Bolingbroke Castle

Emergency services were called to the grounds of Old Bolingbroke Castle last week after reports that somebody had fallen over.

A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 3.53pm on Friday (October 9) to Old Bolingbroke in Lincolnshire.

“The caller reported that someone had fallen. 
“We sent LIVES Community First Responders, a paramedic in a car and a crewed ambulance.

“The air ambulance was also in attendance.

“One patient was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance.”
