Families urged to share views to help improve childcare across Lincolnshire

Families across Lincolnshire are being encouraged to share their experiences of childcare as part of a new survey aimed at improving services across the county.

Lincolnshire County Council is asking parents to provide feedback on what childcare is really like in their area—what’s working well, what’s missing, and what support is needed.

The council works closely with local providers, childminders and schools to ensure childcare is flexible, reliable and meets the needs of families. Feedback from previous surveys has already led to significant improvements.

Councillor Natalie Oliver, executive member for children’s services, said: “Thanks to feedback from previous surveys, we’ve helped create over 500 new childcare places in the areas that needed them most.

“We’ve also helped set up wraparound childcare for school-aged children across Lincolnshire, designed around what local families told us they needed.”

The latest survey aims to build on that progress, helping the council understand demand and plan future provision.

As an added incentive, everyone who completes the survey can enter a prize draw to win a £50 high street voucher.

The survey is open until April 12 and is available online.
