Family’s tribute to Jack, 17, after Stainton le Vale collision

The family of teenager who lost his life on Wednesday evening have paid a heartfelt tribute to a ‘wonderful son, brother and friend’.

Jack McLoughlin, 17, lost his life after the car he was a passenger in left the road in Stainton le Vale at around 10.30pm on Wednesday (June 3).

In a tribute released this weekend, Jack’s family said: “Jack was such a wonderful son and brother and a friend to so many.

“He was always kind to everyone and had a great love of all animals, especially his little shadow Rocky.

“He brought endless light and laughter to our family and anyone he met.

“He never missed an opportunity to tell his family he loved them and they were the last words we all had with him the last time we saw him.

“He taught himself to play the guitar and we loved to hear the songs he created.

“We will miss him more than words can say but he is in our hearts forever and will be everywhere we are. We were so blessed to have him in our lives.”

Lincolnshire Police officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses, CCTV and dash-cam footage to assist their investigation into the collision.
