The Trust has already confirmed that staff car parking will be free from Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at least Friday, July 31.

Until further notice, anyone visiting Lincoln, Boston or Grantham hospitals will be able to park in any of the car parks free of charge.

This means that both visitors and staff can use any designated parking space on the sites.

Disabled parking bays will still be reserved for blue badge holders who should display their permit as usual.

All other spaces will be free for everyone to use, but the Trust asks that motorists continue to park considerately and within designated parking bays.

All of the payment machines will be covered over from tomorrow morning (Thursday).

ULHT is working really hard to prevent the spread of coronavirus and to protect patients and staff from becoming seriously ill.

With this in mind, ULHT have made the difficult decision to suspend all visiting to wards at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, Lincoln County Hospital and Grantham and District Hospital with immediate effect.

The only exceptions to the above are:

• The maternity department will allow one birthing partner to attend

Parents who do not show the symptoms of infection can visit their children.

Any other visits are by exception only and typically will be granted on compassionate grounds agreed in advance with the nurse in charge of the ward.

If granted, the majority of these visits will be taking place between 6pm and 7pm.

No visitors under 16 will be allowed.

• The site at County Hospital Louth is owned by NHS Property Services and so at this time is not included in these changes.
