From QEGS to the White House
A former pupil at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Horncastle has delivered his own take on interviewing outgoing US President Donald Trump.
Tim Shipman, a student at QEGS from 1986-93, went on to a successful career as a political journalist and is now Political Editor at the Sunday Times and tweeted this picture of an interview with Mr Trump.
Tim said: “Farewell then... one of the 10 most memorable days of my career.
“Unlike a lot of politicians, he answered my questions, though I don’t think he liked this one much from the look of him!”
