A beauty salon in Gainsborough has decided to close its doors after it was impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Tailored Beauty By Lucy in Ashcroft Road, Gainsborough, made an announcement on Facebook that it would be closing its business on August 29.

A post on the Tailored Beauty By Lucy Facebook page said: “Hi guys, sad news I'm posting im afraid.

"I’ve had a long think about it and made the decision to close my business down for the time being as I’m not making enough money to even cover the rent or the insurance each month so its costing me out of my own money for it all.

"So I made the decision that my business will cease on August 29, so if you want any treatments doing before I close down then drop me a message and I'll get you booked in for one of the next three Saturdays, thanks to everyone who has come for treatments with me before the lockdown.”

A following post said: “Hi everyone, as I told you I am ceasing trading but I am not taking any more bookings, today was my last day for bookings as I'm packing and clearing my stuff out next Saturday.

"Hopefully one day I'll be able to re-open or go mobile.

"If anyone wants contacting if I am able to do this then drop me a message and I’ll add you on my personal Facebook for now.

"Thanks to everyone whose come to me for treatments over the months I was self employed, I met some lovely clients and hopefully come the day I’m self employed again I may get to see them again.”
